Class A (M.M)
Class A is a great book for anybody who likes a good read because it has action suspence and kids being spys. It made me read until 2am thats how good it is. I know lots of peoples who have read the series and they say thats its one of the best series ever writin. This book is when James Adams goes on his most important mission yet. He has to bust the biggest drug dealer in europe. He is sent with a feew of his CHERUB friends to investagate and he has to be friends with the drug dealer's kid Junior.
I would rate this 5 out of 5 stars cause the book keeps you wanting to read.

My Final Blog S.K
Wow... I can't beleive it! Summer is starting and school is almost over. And so sadly, this will be my final post on this blog for the year. I will be talking about the top 10 books I really want to skim through for this summer.
1. City of Ashes since I have finished reading the first book which is City of Bones. I am very curious in wanting to know what happens to Clary! P.S Mortal Instruments is the best series ever!
2. Next, City of Glass. I want to finish the Mortal instruments this summer so then next September, I can have awesome talks with my friends about it!
3. Night runner because I have a lot of good comments about it from classmates! Also, the title page is very attracting and looks like a lot of action will be included in the book.
4. The Mocking jay because the Hunger Games series have received many good comments! I read the first two books and they were awesome!
5. The Cherub Series was my favorite series since grade 7 until new books came out. I read all the way up to the fifth book which was Divine Madness. So, during the summer, I want to finish up Man vs. Beast!
6. Divergent since my teacher encouraged me to read it and a lot of my friends told me it was a great book if I read it in order!
7. The Inheritance Cycle is also interesting. It is was sold by a Korean company and it's about dragons which also inherits action so I can't forget about that one for sure!
8. Witch and Wizard seems cool also! My friend told me the author could have done better but I'm really desperate!
9.Rangers Apprentice hasn't been mentioned too much about but, I still want to read it! The title sounds interesting!
10. Last but not least, I want to read the The Gift by: James Patterson. I have read a couple of books from him and I enjoyed every single book so I should try this one for sure!
Last but not least, I have to thank you all viewers. Unfortunately, this will be my last post! Bye for now and check out these books this summer!

City Of Lost Souls Summary
This weekend I started and finished (in only 2 days!) the book The City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments series book 5) by Cassandra Clare. It was absolutely without a doubt a great book-here is the full book summary, if you are looking to read this book DO NOT read this summary because I warn you-it CONTAINS SPOILERS! Don't say I didn't warn you!
Jace and Sebastian run off while under the influence of the first demon Liliths' mark which bonded Sebastian and Jace together to make them one. In every bond there is one dominant human which is Sebastian which means Jace and Sebastian are out to rid the world of Shadowhunters. Clary is frantic to find Jace and just to her luck Jace comes to her house one night and offers her the opportunity to come with him and Sebastian, Clary blindsided by love and made the rash decision to accompany them on their trip. After leaving Clary finds herself in a magical house that can transport them anywhere in the world which, owned by Sebastian, is located in Spain. Luckily Clary thought a little before leaving with Jace-she left a magical faerie ring for Simon which would allow her to keep in constant untraceable contact with him. After building much needed trust with the boys Clary realises Jace is not himself and that he is inferior to Sebastian, Jace in bonded to do Sebastian's will. Clary and the boys went to steal Adamas (the stuff they make seraph blades out of) after stealing the Adamas they took it to an Iron Sister who transformed it into a second Mortal Cup which Sebastian will use to raise an evil army of Shadowhunters. Frantic to separate Jace from Sebastian, Simon, Isabelle, Alec and Magnus try summoning Azazel who they attempt to convince him to give them a blade that will separate the boys, but that plan failed. Next Simon summons Raziel who gives him a sword in exchange for his Mark of Cain which keeps him immortal. Back in Prague Sebastian summons Lilith then he takes her blood and his which he puts in the new Mortal Cup. With Sebastian's army of 40 former Shadowhunter circle members he forces them to drink from the cup making them dark Shadowhunters who only abide to his commands. After only making 5 or so dark Shadowhunters Clary, Simon, Magnus, Alec and a Shadowhunter army portal in just in time to stop Sebastian. After a battle of epic proportion the rogue Shadowhunters lose, Sebastian escapes while the good shadowhunters win by not only winning the war but by retrieving Jace from Liliths curse bonding him to Sebastian by using the sword to sever it. After a long emotional talk Alec and Magnus split up. After a meeting with the Silent Brothers they discover that Jaces' body contains heavenly fire given off by Michaels' sword.

Challenge For The Week Of June 1st CP+AH
The most amazing series I have read would definitely be the Mortal Instruments series. The books are amazing but the covers however are lacking the ability to draw a person to read it and putting a drag on the successfulness of the series. The first book "The City of Bones" had a half dressed man on the front, and what kind of guy would want to be seen reading a book like this? Three books later, after a few average covers we have two people making out on the cover of "The City of Lost Souls", and again I ask you this: what kind of guy wants to be carrying this around in public? People WILL make fun of you. In my opinion Cassandra Clare needs to make better book covers that will appease male as well as female audiences just as your books do.
S.K June 4th Journal Topic And Summary
A book I thought was amazing other than the cover was, the Hunger Games. Before I had commenced to read this book, I thought the book would be very dreadful from the colours, the no-meaning of the title, etc. but the book turned out very good. There was also a movie for it and it received many awards, hits, and other accomplishments but I personally thought the title was horrible. It represented a bow killing a bird and when I first looked at it, I thought the book would be about a plain old bird.

Challenge For Week Of The 22nd A.H
My favourite food that I would eat during my childhood would be Shin Cup Ramen because I always liked the spiciness of it. I liked it because spicy things taste really good. For example, lots of sweet things are really sticky, right? Spicy things, though, aren't usually sticky. So really, I only liked spicy things because of the flavour...right?

The Recruit Summary Two (M.M)
After James was sent to Cherub he had to pass a test. James past the test and was asked if he wanted to stay at Cherub. James accepted the invitation to stay and had to pass basic training. It was hard- they were pushed around like dirt and were made to perform with three hundred percent. He gave it his all and made it with the last challenge being incredibly difficult. James was soon sent on his first mission, where he had to stay with hippies and find information on what their attack would be on the petrocom event. After finding out that they were going to send a very unhealthy drug in the air where lots of peoples could have died he prevented it and saved the deaths of hundreds of people. He was promoted to the navy blue shirt, which is a big accomplishment.

2.Steak
3.Chicken bacon
4. Smoked meat
5. Salami
The Recruit Summary (M.M)
I am reading The Recruit and I find it really good even though I felt really bad for James, the main character. He a normal boy but his family are all shoplifters and he lives in the part of London where gun shots are heard every 5 minutes. James was trying to avoid getting into to trouble but when a girl went overboard with jokes about his mom being fat (because his mom was over 300 pounds) he punched her and gave her 8 stitches. What James forgot was that this girl's brother was in a gang and was 16 years old. After coming back after this horrible day, James finds that his mom had taken drugs and alcohol and she died from it, so James was sent to Nebraska-a home for people with no parents. James got in with a gang and trying to prove himself to be up to it he tried stealing 24 beers but when he realised his "friends" tricked him he got in trouble with the police. After that James was sent back to Nebraska to sleep and while he was sleeping he got shot and taken to Cherub--a secret organisation where they send kids to go on mission like the FBI but with kids for one sole purpose: Adults never suspect that children are spying on them.
Rating: One is the Best, Five is the Worst.
1. Chicken wings
2. Steak
3.Chicken bacon

5. Salami

Summary And Challenge For 28th (S.K)
Clary Fray is on her way on the train with Jace to the land where Clary lived. On their way, Clary saw a bunch of naughty girls chattering and giggling while Clary and Jace got off the train. It reminded her of the girls at her school. But, what was even more interesting was that the girls were staring at Jace like they were in love with them and surely, they were. But, Jace was supposed to be invisible to the mundanes.
A type of food I grew up eating originated from mostly South Asia was rice and curry. Some North Americans make fun of it but who knows what the South Asians are saying about junk food like pizza, fries, etc., which aren't even healthy for you. Rice and curry is very healthy and I eat it a lot and almost everyday for lunch. Both my parents were from an island in South Asia and they couldn't eat like us. They had to fight hard for their food. Curry had to be made with many ingredient using your hands or cheap utensils. Rice would be found grown in weeds and that is why it was their only food to eat other than fruits grown from trees. South Asians fought like this everyday and that is what they ate everyday. Now, South Asia exports rice to many countries, even to stores in Toronto and we when we head over there, we buy it a lot. It can be found here in Ottawa but we prefer what the natives from my parent's country eat as all the grains have a different taste. Our parents introduced this dish to me so we can pass it on to canadians and even our kids. I find this food important to our family because it was what we used to fight hard for back in our country and it should remain alive in our hearts.

Challenge For The Week Of May 21st
Manga
1. Yes I believe the characters would look and act differently in manga, the characters would be more swift in making decisions, they would act faster. In most mangas characters are cartoon so the characters in my book would also become cartoon.
2. The action definitely be paced WAY faster because mangas are shorter books so only events with significance to the story line would appear in a manga otherwise cutting all of the less important and less interesting stuff out.
3 and 4. No I don't believe the title or the ending would change if a book was made into a manga series, people want to know what manga version of a book they will be reading so no I wouldn't change the title and the end may come faster than in the book but no it should not be changed because then you lose the relation between the real series and the manga series.

Short Summary And May 7th Challenge (S.K)
So far as the book passes, Clary is almost considered as one of the undergrounders like Jace and something actually forced her to become one. She had no choice but to listen to them after her mother had passed away in a fatal accident. It was sad but she had to forget the past and move on with the future. When she was in the scene where the accident took place, Jace was there also and since he was invisible and Clary was the only person who could see him, she had to prevent herself from being seen from the police so she had to turn invisible and join their crew.

I read the short story called Looking back at 2008. I found it was interesting as it was a blend of religion and belief. First of all, the book was about a man and how he attended church but he thought he couldn't attain gods grace and so he went to other facilities to make a better person. Eventually, he did and he was proud of the goal he set and achieved. It was awkward because the story started a little depressing then ended great! Earlier, I mentioned religion and that has been said because the plots were mostly at churches and also, it was about the man going to church. Also, I said belief because when you always have belief in yourself for success, it attracts to you like magnets.
I rate this short story 7 hockey sticks out of 10 hockey sticks because the story was short and personally for me, I understand more when there is detail and it is specific. In the meantime, I thought the moral was idea-logic and I can learn a lot from it for my future.
Summary And Journal Topic For May 7 (S.K)
Clary is feeling what probably a beggar would go through. Maybe a mix of depression and anxiety. I say depression as her mother just passed away and now, she is left as an orphan as her father disappeared obliviously. Anxiety because now she is not ready to set free with a new family with powers. She is scared but a little happy knowing she might try to find clues with Jace behind the misery! Something is just not right and I hope to figure it out soon in the book!
1. Personally, I think technology is too important for me to lose and therefore, it is impossible to live without it! If I take my family for example, both my parents work hard with computers and other technology to earn money so they can provide shelter, water and food for our family. If they couldn't work, I wouldn't be successful at all in life. And to the second question, yes, I will need a lot of help because this source is too mind-wrecking to lose as it plays an important aspect in one's daily life.
2. In my opinion, no it is not cheating because it is an essential resource that humans need in order to survive. On the other hand, if it were something like to steal money, that is a completely different story.
4. Honestly, I have to disagree to that question. Not only will we die struggling for water, frozen food, cold beverages and electricity but depression will become key. When people realise their hard life, they will feel depressed or even maybe purposely starve to death. That is why we should be satisfied where we are living. Next, I will miss electricity the most. When modern society is growing, electricity is probably what we use the most nowadays as even technology falls into that category.
6. Yes, I do feel rushed. When society is growing in population, we learn more and more which altogether which leaves our brain in distress. In simple words, pressure from everything which includes school, extra-curricular activities, etc. just ruin us. Yes, I just feel like we all as human beings should have a break like the beloved sun. We all have different problems as kids and as adults that we have to face so I agree with being rushed.

Challenge For The Week Of May 7th (AH+CP)
Critique 1 (find a short story with a number in the title) : Ward 6
Critique 2 (find a short story with jewellery and or a gem in the title): The Locket
Critique 3 (Find a short story with a size in the title): The discovery Of The High Lama
Critique 4(Find a short story with travel or movement in the title):When Sara Looks Up
Critique 5(Find a short story with evil in the title): John Mortenson's Funeral
Critique 6(Find a short story with a life stage in the title): Desirees Baby
The Locket
Young Edmund merely 16 years had been forced to go over seas to fight a war that was not his. Leaving his fair not yet married maiden behind with only a locket to remember her. 4 years passed and not a scratch came to Edmund throughout the war, his pals believed it was luck but Edmund knew it was something deeper, he knew it was the locket he held so dearly it had saved him, Alas the day he would encounter his fair maiden once more to propose to her, didn't happen he stepped on a mine and died a tragicful death. To this day Octavia will never forget her almost husband, Edmund. She won't forget his distressed dead body and the locket he carried around his neck.
I would rate this story 4 out of 5 stars because it was well written and a lot happened throughout but i felt the end was missing something and that the story was difficult to follow.

Literature Circles Challenge Of April 9th K.S
For this week's challenge I chose the character Josh Newman from the series of "The Secret Immortal Life of Nicholas Flamel." What I wanted to give him was a lie detector so he can check on who might be lying to him, because now he feels like he doesn't even know his own sister (Sophie) after the awakening, he is at a complete loss.
If Josh had a lie detector he probably wouldn't be with the man who tricked him and tried to kill him for his own evil purposes, Dr. John Dee. Besides, Nicholas Flamel is a man who might not always tell the truth but puts his life on the line for the 2 twins of legend (Josh and Sophie) many times. Therefore, if I could give Josh anything to help him out, I would give him a lie detector!

Eragon Full Summary A.H C.P
There's a place in the great lands of Alagaesia where a boy is raised with no memory of his parents. This boy is Eragon. Eragon is raised as a farm boy where he works for every bit of currency. As he works, he also hunts for his Uncle Garrow and his brother Roran. One day, he finds a blue stone in the wild forest called the Spine. He figures it could be a valuable item so he tries to trade it at the butcher shop. Only Sloan won't take anything from the Spine. So Eragon is about to be chased out of his shop when the town's smith arrives. Horst, Carvahall's smith, wouldn't allow Sloan to chase Eragon out of his shop when Eragon has a form of payment and is in need of food. So Horst buys a ton of meat for Eragon instead after Sloan still refuses to sell Eragon food. Eragon returns home to a disapproving Garrow, and gives him the meat. Later, Eragon travels with Garrow to meet the traders who have just arrived in Carvahall to try and sell the blue stone. Garrow loses interest in the stone when he learns it isn't worth much and doesn't bother trying to sell it. Eragon then takes the stone back and goes around looking at the items that the traders have brought with them. After, Eragon goes home with his Uncle Garrow and his cousin Roran. Then one day, Eragon's blue stone begins to get cracks in it, and after a while, it finally hatches. This was no stone, it was a dragon egg. A blue dragon emerges from this stone, and once Eragon gets over his wariness he feeds his dragon and tries to find a name for it. He does not yet know that his dragon is actually a female and not male. He goes to Brom to ask him for facts about dragons, and learns a bunch of dragon names. He tries them all with his dragon and when he finally realises it is a female, he finds the right name: Saphira. Then Horst tells Eragon of a pair of strangers called the Ra'zac who are looking for an egg like his. He takes Horst's advice and tries to go home, but is taken away by Saphira to the place where Saphira's egg first appeared in front of him. The following day, Eragon convinces Saphira to take him home, only to find his farm destroyed and Garrow dying. Garrow dies and Eragon leaves Carvahall with Brom so that he can hunt down the Ra'zac. They chase the Ra'zac all the way to Dras-Leona when they are chased out by soldiers who wish to capture Eragon and Saphira. The Ra'zac manage to catch Eragon, Brom, and Saphira unawares and then they escape with the help of Murtagh, a passing stranger with the same intentions as Eragon-to kill the Ra'zac. However, Brom is killed and then they travel to Gil'ead, where a man knows the whereabouts of the Varden, a front for the resistance of the dark king, Galbatorix. They go to Gil'ead and Eragon is once again captured, but this time by Urgals. He finds himself in Gil'ead with a Shade supervising over the soldiers. Eragon breaks out and Murtagh aids in his escape, but they encounter the Shade Durza unexpectedly. Then, there is a brief battle between Durza and Eragon with Murtagh, in which Murtagh kills the Shade. They then escape with Saphira and the elf they rescued from Gil'ead. They go to the Varden, where a great war is fought and Eragon is dealt a terrible wound, which cripples him. Regardless, he manages to kill the Shade with the help of Arya(the elf they rescued in Gil'ead). As Eragon takes the toll of his wound, a voice by the name of The Cripple Who Is Whole, comes and saves him from the pits of madness as Eragon is on the brink of death when he arrives. Eragon returns to normalcy and he makes a decision-that he would go to the elves to strengthen himself as much as he possibly can.

Summary And Climax Challenge For The 23rd Of April (S.K)
Clary Fray figures something is up with her mother. All of a sudden, her mother is wanting to take her elsewhere with Luke for a weird reason. Her mother wouldn't tell her why so she decided to run away from home with her best friend, Simon. Later, Simon advises her to call her mother and tell her to talk this over. When they decide to return back home, they get a call. It's Clary's mother and she tells her that something is up with her and told her not to come home and to call her boyfriend, Luke to tell him to call the cops. She is so desperate to see his mother that she runs home with Simon to see what is going on. All they see is a mess.
1) From what I have read so far in City of Bones, Clary figures her mother is in need for help. When Clary realises that she is going to move, she becomes depressesd so she runs away from home with her friend. When they go to a little place, that's where the climax takes place. Clary sees the guy she never wanted to see, Jace. Jace is not a human being as for a bizarre reason, only Clary can see these underground creatures. She detests how he is following her and he asks her to show him her palm. She thinks that she is going to turn out like him and she does eventually to protect herself from something bad.
2) In my opinion if Clary thought of listening to her mother about the decision of moving elsewhere, she would have been home when the creature snuck in her house. If this took place, Clary
wouldn't be alive and the whole story would have been screwed up! What would happen if the main character who is telling the story dies. It would just be a total distress.
Challenge For The Week Of April 30 CP + AH
In the book City Of Bones the climax is when Jace,Clary, Valentine and Luke are all in a room together, Valentine convinced Jace that he was his son. Jace being maniacally controlled by his "father" began to turn on Clary after several moments of tirelessly back and forth Jace finally realised that he was being manipulated. Had Clary made the decision not to aid Jace, Jace would most likely have gone to Idris with Valentine to continue Valentine's evil rain thus turning Jace to the dark side.

Michael Scott's "Michael Scott the official website."
his URL; http://www.dillonscott.com/
This site mostly refers to his series named "The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel." This site helps encourage his readers to buy his books and look into his other series. In his website there are different links for readers to choose making it easier for them to find the right book(which I might say is fantastic)!
Some of the features on his site include all of the different books he has had a part in-which you can easily go through to find the right book that you want to read. There are also release dates for some of his newest work such as "The Enchantress" that is being released very soon.
Overall I found this site very helpful and useful. There for I'd rate this site a 4/5.

Challenge For 26th (S.K)
Think of a character in a book that you are either reading or have already read. What do you think would either give them luck or actually help them out practically?
In the book, Hunger Games from Suzanne Collins, for Katniss and Primrose Everdeen, Im guessing if they had a loving family, they would have lived more peacefully and also wouldnt have to struggle for food and water. They did have a mother but she wasnt too useful after her husband had left her and two daughters alone. She was mostly depressed and so Katniss, the older daughter had to step up to guide her family and take on the role for food and other essential qualities humans need in order to live. Think if the father was still alive. They would probably be more rich because their father and mother would be working.

CHECK OUT WILLAM BELLS, BOOK THE BLUE HELMET. Not a long book but is very good! I enjoyed it because of the lovely friendship between Lee Mercer and Bruce Cutter. Lee, a teenage boy, kicked out from his city and is now living with his aunt. On the other hand, Bruce, is a very intelligent man creating electronic devices. Their freindship remains alive until one day, something bad happens! Not only bad but this is going to leave someone hanging with despair. Read this book to figure out what happens!

April 9th Challenge! (S.K)
In the book, Blue Helmet, I would give advice to Lee Mercer. He is a very nice intelligent little man but seems to lose his temper more often! For example, when Lee was about to get jumped at school, he tried to calm himself down and it was really evident he couldnt because he was that violent! He beat all of them up like they were a bunch of punching bags! They were like a bunch of worms lying on the street after they took bruises and bloody cuts from Lee. Also, this young man (Lee) got arrested from the cops for many different reasons and all from his dreadful repetitive behaviour.

Literature Challenge Author Blog A.H
This week's challenge was to find a blog that was by an author. I picked Cassandra Clare's blog(she wrote the Mortal Instruments series) since I really liked her books. Her blog was pretty good too. I liked both her blog and her books. They were both well-constructed, both her blog as well as her books.

Blue Helmet Summary Part 3 S.K
Lee had no idea of what to do with all the money Cutter had left him with. He knew that after his mother had passed away, his father had to get two jobs to pay his rent for the apartment. Lee felt terrible so he hired a lawyer and it was Mrs. Smith, the lady who Lee worked for delivery. Lee also needed personal details about the bank account from his father so he snuck home and quickly found the details he needed while his father was at work.
A couple of days later, Lee's father came to where Lee was living. He asked his sister how he got a lot of money into his bank and also knew that it came from New Toronto, where Lee lived. Lee's aunt said it was not her so Lees father knew it had to be Lee and Lee admitted it. Lee told him he wanted do it for the sake of his mother, who had passed away since he never really got to help her. After many arguments, his father agreed so they all moved to where Cutter used to live and they lived happily ever after. Lee realised that Cutter had showed him that he had to face the war inside before he could find peace and it turned out to be entirely true.

Blue Helmet Summary Part 2 S.K
Lee's first couple of weeks with his aunt had been going fine until bad news strikes him like a blow to his heart. His only close friend who was a man, Bruce Cutter had passed away. It was believed that Bruce Cutter had committed suicide in his own house using pills. Lee had to figure out why his jolly friend had done such a thing. Soon, he figures out that Bruce had left money for him, including all his properties. So later, Lee moved into his dead friend's house and tries to find clues for the reasons of Cutter's suicide act. He found out that his friend used to be in the army in a journal that Bruce had kept. He also found a blue helmet which Bruce used in the army and much more. It was also proven that he was an orphan when his parents got into a car accident on their way from work.
Another ridiculous act also took place. Lee's aunt's ex.boyfriend jumped her and beat her up. Lee came in time to rescue her and Lee also got the cops to arrest the man. His name was Del and Lee's aunt was seriously injured.

Blue Helmet (Section 1 Pg.1-75) (S.K)
Lee Mercer is an impatient but a kind hearted teenager. He gets in a lot of trouble, too much that he even has to deal with the police. In order to prevent Lee from getting arrested for his poor behaviour, Lee's father sent him to live with his aunt. It was tough! Really tough! His residence wasn't great at all and he had to work for money. His mother had also passed away so he had a hard time getting through that too. He met other interesting people over in New Toronto where his aunt lives. One man by the name of Bruce Cutter was a man who brightened his life up a lot. He is an intelligent man and is probably one of Lee's closest friends according to Lee.
Character Challenge: An important character I chose who I really liked was Bruce Cutter. He wasnt the actual main character in te book but I really enjoyed his character. He is a very intelligent man and helped Lee throughout his terrible life.

Challenge For The Week Of April 16th A.H. C.P.
We chose the book Blue Helmet that revolves around the character Lee Mercer to do this challenge about. If we had the choice to give Lee something to aid him in his quest to gain inner peace we would give him a sandbag. We chose a sandbag because his problem is he can't control his rage whenever he feels the urge to hit someone he will simply direct his rage at the sandbag thus keeping him under control.
Rating For The Week of April 16 Blue Helmet C.P
I rate this part of the book a purple skittle(4/5) because it had some action, but lacked other interesting elements.

City of Bones Full Summary A.H C.P
A regular girl named Clary is perfectly normal except for one thing-she can see things that normal people can't see. For example, monsters/creatures, whatever you want to call them. Not only can she see the monsters, she can see the Shadowhunters as well. The reason being? She's one of them. Her mother, her father-they knew, how could you not know, since you're one as well? When you're born as a Shadowhunter, there are a lot of things to learn such as runes, fighting in; hand-to-hand, bows, swords and other odd weapons. Then you have to learn the normal curriculum for us normal people. It's quite a sum to pick up on. Clary is at a party called Pandemonium where she meets three people named Jace, Isabelle, and Alex. All three of them are Shadowhunters and they are currently hunting a demon. She tries to stop the Shadowhunters from killing the demon because she thinks he is a real boy. That is when she realises that it really was a demon. So she is whisked away into a world full of Shadowhunters, vampires, werewolves, demons, Greater Demons, strange rules and rituals. She goes with the Shadowhunters on their various missions, and with her friend Simon, strike up a friendship between the Shadowhunters and them. Then the Shadowhunters find out that a certain traitorous Shadowhunter named Valentine is actually alive, even though he was thought to be dead. Clary's mother was taken by Valentine and now he wants the Mortal Cup, the item that can create more Shadowhunters. The group of people and Shadowhunters go to find it and then Clary realises that Dorothea, her neighbour, has it. The tarot cards that Jocelyn(Clary's mother) gave to her were actually more than just tarot cards. The Ace of Cups actually had the Mortal Cup inside it. So Clary and her group go to retrieve it and Dorothea transforms into a Greater Demon, demanding the Cup. Abbadon(The Greater Demon) was not what she expected and now the whole team was caught off guard. Since they were caught off guard and didn't expect Dorothea to actually be the Greater Demon, They had reached a standoff. Now Jace's life was endangered until Simon killed the demon with the bow that Alex had left behind in the van. So now the group has acquired the Mortal Cup so they return to the Infirmary. There, Hodge uses Hugo(his bird) to attack Clary and gain the Mortal Cup. Then, Hodge summons Valentine and Valentine removes Hodge's curse in exchange for the Mortal Cup and Jace. Clary and her group go to find Valentine, Clary's mother, and the Mortal Cup. They defeat Valentine and retrieve Jace, Clary's mother, and the Mortal Cup. But before that, Valentine proved to Jace that he was his father. Valentine escapes through a Portal and destroys the Portal after he goes through. After, Clary and her group go home.

City Of Bones Rating A.H
I would rate this book a General(2nd best) because there is a lot of action and it seems to fit together really well. The book wasn't really to my taste, but it was still really good. The reason I didn't give it a Fuhrer was because even though I liked the book, it still wasn't my type of book and that was what kept it from being rated the highest rating. I would also have rated the book a Fuhrer if it had more of Jace and less of Clary. I didn't like Clary so I kept the book away from a Fuhrer rating. That is why I gave the book City Of Ashes a General rating. If the author had made Clary a little less annoying, then this would be one of my most favoured books.
1.Fuhrer
2.General
3.Colonel
4.Major
5.Captain
6.Lieutenant
7.Warrant Officer

Challenge For The Week Of The 9th C.P
Lee Mercer, high school drop out, makes an attempt to join the most powerful gang in the city-the Tarantulas. After getting caught on his first test to join the Tarantulas, Lee's financial struggling father sends him to his aunt's to work in her cafe. While working there Lee encounters one serious problem-rude costumers (which he soon solves with his fists). After working at the cafe for a little while Lee begins to expand his career he starts a courier business and does several other domestic tasks, while working Lee meets Cutter a middle aged mentally handicapped man who might just be Lee's only ever friend.
Lee Mercer's issues in life are that he cannot control his anger, he uses his fists to solve all of his problems and not his words. This issue has lead Lee to a struggling life of loneliness and despair. The plan to fix the issues is in the book Cutter's plan to leave his peace keeping gear to Lee and then let him figure out what it means. But another plan would be for Cutter to send Lee to complete his mission as a peace keeper; to terminate all war. In doing this Lee would soon realise that on the battlefield shooting someone makes them return fire with a mind set on vengeance. Lee would have to realise that is not the way to solve any issue no matter what it would be first and foremost you must negotiate, argue and/or reason with someone to solve the issue before using any sort of weapon. This may also teach Lee to appreciate what he has in life.
"I was once a peace keeper on the battlefield alas those are the only memories my twisted mind won't forget." Cutter
I rate this section of the book a red skittle because it was filled with action, humour and a little bit of romance. This book is a very good book for any teen, it's easy to read and it also has a moral to the story that I think any teen would benefit from learning.

Freezer Book Challenge A.H
The book that I would like to throw in the freezer and leave there for all of eternity would be Gregor the Overlander because it was ever so boring. I found that it was-no offence intended in the creation of this post-the worst book ever written, and that it couldn't even qualify as a book, much less a good book. To me, it lacks serious action. By "serious action" I mean like say a war. Or at least two forces that are attempting to destroy each other the whole way through. There should be a little luck, not a whole dumpster filled with luck. In Gregor the Overlander, Gregor's adventure is pretty much just a lot of luck. When Gregor and his sister first arrive in the Underland, they happen to meet the roaches-by chance. So they survive. Then, coincidentally, they realise that their father is actually in the Underland as well. Then they are lucky enough to be able to escape the Underland. So, as I said, there is too much luck in Gregor the Overlander.
There are actually several books/comics/manga/dictionaries(I was kidding about the last one) that I would like to throw in the freezer but if I could pick two, I would pick Gregor the Overlander and there is also a "comic" that I would enjoy throwing in the freezer. This comic(comic/manga? I'm not sure which one this is...) It's on the internet and it's really scary. You might not be scared, but it creeps you out like crazy. Good luck!

Suzanne Collins Blog Review (Lit Circle April 4th) (M.M)
I have just recently visited Suzanne Collins blog and I do not find it as nice as I thought it would be because as you all know Suzanne Collins is the author of the Hunger Games so I thought she would have a more developed blog. Her blog looks like a 1970 blog because of the colours and how poor the quality is. Not trying to offend but it's horrible. If I had to rate it, I would rate it a 2\10.

I chose Suzanne Collins, the author of the series of the Hunger Games. I chose this author specially because of her style of writing. I really enjoyed it because it's always in a mood to calm you down and I'm guessing it's because of her series which started off with Hunger Games.
The Hunger Games is about how a girl named Katniss sent along with a boy from her district, named Peeta and how they are sent to a life-threatning adventure to fight for their life. With a lot of effort and emotion, the two teens brought pride to their district which is District 12.

I would rate Firestorm a 2.5\5 because it is well written and has a lot of action and adventure but the book is not excellent for my age because it has rather sexual content which is mostly for 15-16 year olds. The book is interesting but it does sort of take time to get to a really good part. I would recommend it for 16 year olds.

Rating Of Firestorm K.S
My rating for Firestorm is 3/5, because it does have a lot of action which helps books keep going and makes the book more fun to read. Firestorm has an excellent plot and keeps readers hooked from beginning to end, with dramatic scenes unfolding before your eyes, yet you don't realise it until it unfolds completely. I would say this book isn't recommended for kids under 13, but otherwise it's a very good book.

Firestorm Summary Full A.H
A regular boy named Jack is in his senior years of high school, and he has broken the number of touchdowns in one game. Now he has appeared on the news. For someone trying to hide from an army of aliens, mutants, and cyborgs, you can imagine that being on the news makes it incredibly hard to hide and from killers armed with who-knows-what. So now Jack is on the run and along the way, he finds a dog named Gisco that turns out to have a telepathic power. They instinctively team up and Gisco turns out to be rather useful, what with his extraordinary dog senses and the fact that he's 3 feet tall. That makes any dog useful for fights, but especially if he can plan out strategies with you through your mind so you can't be overheard. Now, Gisco and Jack travel a long distance, escaping enemy forces by a large margin, or a very close call. Either way, they make it to an abandoned barn, where Gisco then leaves Jack and he is trapped inside the barn. Jack has no idea where Gisco has gone and is feeling betrayed when he is attacked by a ninja person. The ninja returns every night until Jack finally beats him, and discovers that "he" is actually a girl. Eko has a full arsenal of different techniques that aid in conquering your most inner weaknesses. He completes Eko's "course" now is on a bottom trawler to run from his enemies. He suddenly can't stand the idea of destroying the ocean's regeneration sites so he breaks down the trawler. Then his evil, long-lost brother arrives and takes him on to his boat. There he is used to find Firestorm, the one most powerful element that ever existed. He is leading Dargon straight to Firestorm without realising it at all. Dargon finds Firestorm and Jack captures it, even as Dargon attempts to destroy it. There, Jack, Gisco, and Eko turn Dargon's island into a volcano and it explodes, taking it's owner with it. However, Gisco and Eko disappear due to a critical injury to Eko, and they return to the future. Jack then returns home.

Freezer Book Challenge For March 26th K.S
If I could freeze any book, I would freeze the book Firestorm because it's a suspenseful book that also has some very inappropriate parts in it (that I will not go into detail). But otherwise this book written by David Klass is about a boy named Jack who is in his senior year of high school, and although life seems to be going well for Jack something is after him. Now he's on the run learning on the way how to save the earth before the turning point.
Gregor The Overlander (Summary Pt. 2) (M.M)
Gregor has hope as he now knows that his dad is alive. Gregor's happiness changes when he is alerted that the rats have attacked Regalia, but what Gregor didn't know about was that he is the prophecy's warrior. Gregor is now in a combat that he had no idea was happening and is told he is the prophecy's warrior. How did this kid from New York City, become this important to people he met only a few days before?

Journal Entry For The Week Of March 26th (C.P)
If I were to put a book in the freezer I would choose the book "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games are about a girl Katniss Everdeen who gets drawn to go to the Hunger Games where death is almost certain. Katniss perseveres and manages to win the Hunger Games. I would put this book in the freezer because I couldn't put it down even when I had to do other things, I ended up reading it at Winners (that's how amazing it was).
Another book I would put in the freezer would be "The Lightning Thief" by Rick Riordan. The Lightning Thief is about a half god, half human boy who is accused of stealing his god uncle's lightning bolt. Throughout the book he tries to prove himself innocent and in the end his friend Luke turns out to be guilty. I would put this book in the freezer because I read this when I was 10 around that age I had a particular fear of ghosts, monsters etc. So when the Three Fates part came up I was petrified. In the end, I managed to keep reading.

Firestorm Summary + Quote For The Week Of The 26th (C.P)
The girl Eko's intentions were not what Jack presumed they would be. She was not trying to embarrass him by beating him up, she was actually training him to fend for himself against his enemies. After many days of training with Eko the Dark Army returns with no intention of leaving Jack alive. After a furious battle, Jack and Gisco escape on a boat leaving Eko to deal with the Dark Army. Eventually they take her precious life. After almost dying from hunger, thirst, whirlpools and hurricanes another boat comes to Jack and Gisco's rescue.
I rate this part of the book a purple skittle (Don't hate it, don't love it). This part was not as exciting as the first part although it did have some action. Jack and Gisco were stuck on the boats for too long without any twists or any surprises. The author should have added something to keep the reader's interest.
"God forgive me for all of the sins I have committed. I am truly sorry, please spare my life with your great kindness". -Jack

I rate this section of the book a red skittle (a must read book). This section was amazing and exhilarating. I gave this book a red skittle because it kept you on the edge with an action packed twist around every turn of the pages. Not only did this book contain immense amounts of action but it had other attracting elements such as the romance, the mystery and humour.
"I didn't think you could handle the truth but boy you're doing fine, you're tougher than you look."

Challenge For The Week Of March 19th (C.P)
Yes I do like listening to music that reflects the mood of my book. My choice of song would reflect this:
a sad book - sad, slow and soft music the more action the book has the faster and the louder the music would get for example... If I was reading Firestrom (which I just finished great book by the way) I would listen to fast paced music to emphasise the mood of the book such as Heart or Nickelback. If I was reading Ptolemy's Gate (very sad ending) I would play songs by tears for Fears (very soft and slow music). If I read a happy book such as Gregor the Overlander (happy ending) I would listen to songs by Katy Perry (happy upbeat).

Why I Chose My Rating System (K.S.)
For my rating system, I chose anime because in my life I literally spend half of my time watching anime (even though I should be studying) because I find anime very amusing and each anime always has a different plot, characters and twists. Although my favourite part would be the different languages I get to learn while watching these shows (like Japanese or Chinese) and since I have to choose something I like for my rating system, I thought, why not anime?
Here is my rating system (from highest to lowest);
5=Naruto Shippuden
4=Yu-Gi-Oh
3=Fairy Tail
2=Fullmetal Alchemist
1=Digimon

Gregor The Overlander Full Summary (A.H)
An 11-year-old boy is home one day while the rest of the kids are at a camp. Gregor is alone with his crazy old grandmother and his little sister, Boots. He goes to do the laundry one day, and finds a chute that leads to the Underworld. He then falls down with his little sister and he arrives in the Underworld. He is picked up by a giant cockroach who takes him to a massive arena. Gregor and Boots are taken to a castle and given Underlander clothes. They attempt to escape through the Waterway, but they are attacked by two massive, talking rats. When Gregor and Boots are about to be eaten, 4 bats and their riders appear to rescue Gregor and Boots. When they get back to the castle, Vikus decides that Gregor truly is the warrior of the prophecy. Vikus then takes Gregor, Boots, Henry, and Luxa on a quest, but first they must find the other members. They set off to find the people/creatures needed. First they go to the crawlers. They take two crawlers, Temp and Tick. They then go to the spinners to get two spinners. The Queen of Spiders refuses and holds them prisoner. They break out eventually, thanks to Luxa, and escape to the Dead Land. There, Vikus can take them no further, so he brings a rat named Ripred to guide them to the rat's home. There, Henry reveals himself to be a spy and summons an army of rats and the rat king to kill Gregor. Gregor realizes that the rats will try to kill him, no matter the danger, so he jumps off the edge of a cliff, and sure enough, the rats follow him. As Gregor falls, Henrys' bat catches him instead of Henry, so Gregor is saved but Henry is not. The team goes back to Regalia, and Ripred gathers a political party of rats to help him ascend to the throne. Gregor, Boots, and their father return home to the Overland.
Manifesto (Gregor The Overlander)
Our reason for creating this blog is to inform the youth on books they should spend countless, sleepless hours reading or books that are simply "I'll finish it another day, I'm not in a rush."
My Rating System (S.K)
I chose to use chocolate bars for my rating system. It is a scrumptious treat that everyone loves! But, some chocolate treats have different tastes and some people like me dislike them. For that reason specifically, I have chosen to use chocolate bars. I used three different types of bars, Twix bars show that I liked this part in the book, Smarties mean that this specific part of the book was okay and O'Henry bars mean that I didn't like this part in the book.
Twix bars: Good
Smarties: Okay
O'Henry bars: Bad

My Rating System Explained (C.P)
I chose skittles for my rating system because I simply adore their succulent flavours and well.... who doesn't love skittles? Skittles are a colourful rainbow of yummy, chewy and sugary candy goodness. My rating system starts with the yellow skittle. It is my least favourite if I give this to a book I absolutely despise this book. Next we have the green skittle this means I do not like the book. Then we have the purple skittle this means the book is okay I don't hate it, but I don't love it. Next is the orange skittle. This means I like the book. Finally we have the red skittle this means I absolutely adore this book and you should read it!

Describing Your Book Through Food
We decided that our book reminds us of asparagus because our book is terrible and asparagus tastes bad, looks bad, smells bad, and leaves a bad aftertaste. You want to forget the book but when you try to forget it, you can't forget. It's the terrible aftertaste that returns to haunt you. The book wasn't very well written because it didn't have enough action (much like asparagus: all boring and no action) and it didn't have any reflection on reality. I would suggest this book to a younger audience who adores fantasies that have no connection to real life whatsoever.
